The course, renowned for its brutal hill climb start, cuts across disciplines, neither pure time trial, nor pure hill climb, it has elements of both and also demands excellent handling skills. It has challenged the best. Former winners include Gethin Butler, Hugh Carthy, Tejvan Pettinger and course record holder James Gullen.
