A good turnout from Pendle Forest riders for the season opener at Bolton-by-Bowland was rewarded with the prize for the fastest team of three.
Conditions were fair, though rather cold, for the hilly event organised by Rossendale Road Club. This year a northerly wind made the outward uphill leg very tough and the return through Forest Beck alarmingly fast.
